# Uploading a CSV

Step 1: Navigate to Audience > Add/Upload CSV from the sidebar.

Step 2: On the page that appears, upload your file into the 'Select File' space. If your file includes a header row, check the 'Include Header' option. Click 'Upload' to proceed.

Step 3:  Match up the column names based on the data in your file and click 'Continue.'

Step 4: See the preview of data to make sure everything is correct and click 'Import' to complete the process.

Step 5: You should be automatically directed to the 'History' tab and should see a progress bar as your file uploads. Once it shows that it is completed, you can navigate to Audience > Segment to find the segment automatically made for the CSV file.
