How to Add and Remove a user from segments.

Are you wanting to add or remove an individual user from a segment? Here's how.

Adding a user to a Segment: You can add a user to a segment from their profile, but depending on the profile you look at, the option to add them resides in a different area.

Full Profile: When you search a user's name from the top search bar of the account, you are taken to their Full Profile. When you get there, scroll down to the bottom of their profile and you will see this option.

When you click on 'Add to Segment,' you will see a list of all of your segments with a checkbox. Simply click the box next to the segments you want to add this user to.

Sales Profile: For the Sales profile, sometimes referred to as the 'Fly-out Profile,' which you can access from either the sales area or by navigating to Audience - Contacts and searching their name from there. Once you click on their name, the Sales Profile will open and you'll see a few different options.

To add them to a segment, click on the three dots at the top of their profile and use the '+ Add to Segment' option.'

When you do, the same menu will open where you will see all of your segments with checkboxes to add them to the segments you need.

Removing a user from a Segment: In order to remove a user from a segment, you'll need to go to Audience - Segments and find the segment you want to remove them from. Click on the segment and scroll to the bottom to search and find the user you are looking for.

When you do, you'll see a Red X on the right-hand side next to their name. Click on the X to remove them from the segment.
